Marquesas Islands 1952
As Thor Heyerdahl had already tried in 1937, Marie-Thérèse and Bengt Danielsson wanted to settle in the Marquesas Islands in 1951, but living in Fatu Iva proved too difficult. So they settled in a valley near Puamau, on the island of Hiva Oa which had already welcomed Gauguin.
Their installation will not be final, but their journey will give birth to their story "Forgotten Islands of the South Seas" that you can download for free by following our instructions.
