Pacific Island Monthly, postmark Tahiti

The Pacific Islands Monthly, colloquially known as PIM, was published in Australia from August 1930 to January 2000 and is now an extraordinary record of events and tensions in the Great Ocean.

From August 1980 to January 1986 were published letters from Papehue, Tahiti, written by Marie-Thérèse and Bengt Danielsson. These "Postmark Papeete", both awaited and feared by the local authorities, are today the witnesses of a certain courageous idea of history, society, and culture of Tahiti and the Islands - isn't a "postmark" a proof of evidence after all ?
